Aftermarket Customer Support (Maternity Cover)

Established, globally regarded aerospace component and systems manufacturer - a subsidiary of the world’s largest operator in their sector, is seeking to recruit a proactive Sales Support/Customer Services team member to meet the ongoing needs and development plans of the organisation.
Duties and responsibilities are varied, but will include:

  • Supporting the sales team with the enquiry process, bookng and monitoring enquiries in line with sales processes
  • Checking and processing orders in to ERP system
  • Managing the administrative side of contracts and orders in line with Global Policies, and in turn contributing to the company’s economic performance and customer satisfaction
  • Working closely with Planning, Supply Chain and Programs colleagues and coordinating work between departments in an efficient and effective manner and according to schedule
  • Supporting and working with cross-functional teams on projects related to the ERP system and ensuring that there is good communication and coordination for all customer related matters
  • Ensuring that all sales enquiries, orders and opportunities are followed up and logged correctly
    The position requires a proactive, organised and efficient individual with proven experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will have strong mathematical skills and attention to detail as well as good interpersonal skills. Ideally with experience in Export Control and order management, they will be confident in managing orders and able to effectively manage priorities. Fluent English skills are essential and the ability to speak and understand French would be an advantage.
    Salary to £27,000 plus excellent benefits package along with the opportunity to develop your career in a progressive, global environment.
