Mazco Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established CNC precision engineering business in Solihull, currently achieving annual revenues between £1.7m and £2.5m. With a strong footprint in the aerospace and defence sectors, they are now seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead business development and drive the next phase of growth.

This is a strategic, client-facing role that requires a strong understanding of precision engineering and the ability to win contracts with high-value customers.

Key Responsibilities



Lead business development efforts across aerospace, defence, and other precision-driven sectors

*

Win new contracts and expand business with existing customers

*

Act as the key front-end contact with clients, understanding their technical needs and requirements

*

Report directly to the business leadership, enabling the internal team to manage quoting and delivery

*

Represent the company in meetings, industry events, and client presentations

*

Develop long-term relationships built on trust, technical credibility, and delivery performance

Candidate Requirements

*

Proven track record in sales or business development within CNC precision engineering

*

Experience working with or selling into aerospace and defence clients

*

Confident in technical discussions around CNC capabilities, tolerances, and project feasibility

*

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to close high-value contracts

*

Professional, articulate, and results-focused
