Rullion have a great opportunity for 3 x Dual Skilled fitter/Engineers with strong electrical and mechanical skills to join a rolling stock maintenance/service team based out of Polmadie, Glasgow.

Roles available:

  • 2 x Permanent Nights
  • 1x Earlies and Lates on a Day Shifts.

    Duration:
    Long Term and Ongoing - 37 hours per week pro rata.

    Role is inside of IR35 and the rates are:

    Nights:
    Pre 12 weeks: PAYE: £24.30 per hour / Umbrella: £31.02 per hour
    Post 12 weeks: PAYE: £27.59 per hour / Umbrella: £37.16 per hour

    Earlies/Lates:
    Pre 12 weeks: PAYE: £22.67 per hour / Umbrella: £28.91 per hour
    Post 12 weeks: PAYE: £25.73 per hour / Umbrella: £34.63 per hour

    PPE is provided by Rullion and Tooling is provided by the client.

    Experience required:
    Previous rail/rolling stock experience is advantageous for this position, but a background in either Aerospace, Ex-Forces Engineering or within Large Transportation will be considered.

    Description:
    Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a senior team member, servicing, maintaining and repairing rolling stock. Within the team you will ensure that traction and rolling stock are serviced and maintained in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner whilst constantly seeking to improve quality.

    Key skills and requirements for the role include;
  • Time served apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or an ONC or SVQ/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • In-depth fault-finding experience.
  • Basic MS Office IT skills.
  • Prepared to work shifts including days, nights and weekends as of when required.

    Our client operates a strict zero-tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy. Be aware that you will be required to take a Drug and Alcohol test either at interview or on your first day.
