Job Title: UK Regional Sales Manager (Northern Regions)
Location: Ideally based in the M62 Corridor
Salary: £60,000 basic – OTE £100,000

About the Opportunity:

Join our clients dynamic and highly successful UK Sales team as our Regional Sales Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding their market presence in the Northern regions of the UK and Scotland. This position represents an exciting opportunity to leverage our strategic investment and maximize the potential of our established customer base while forging new relationships with key clients.
As a vital member of their UK sales infrastructure, you will collaborate closely with my clients Marketing and Operations Support teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass managing both direct and distributor sales, with a focus on delivering outstanding technical and commercial support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive Sales Growth: Spearhead the successful sales growth of their innovative products across the Northern regions and Ireland, utilizing both direct customer sales and established distribution channels.
Sales Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of direct end-user sales, from initial enquiry to payment, ensuring the establishment of sustainable and profitable customer accounts.
Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical demonstrations and training for customers and distributors to empower their understanding and use of their products.
Distributor Development: Recruit and nurture new distributors to strengthen our existing network, providing them with the necessary technical and commercial support.
Market Insights: Collaborate with UK senior management to deliver relevant market feedback, sales performance updates, and accurate forecasts.
Sales Collaboration: Work alongside the Marketing and Product Management departments to co-develop effective sales and marketing campaigns that enhance performance and profitability.What We Are Looking For:
My client is seeking a technically adept and proven sales professional with a solid track record in technical sales across sectors such as electronics, precision engineering, automotive, aerospace, and medical device manufacturing. Your experience should highlight successes in selling instrumentation, measuring systems, or capital equipment, with a distinct advantage for candidates with microscopy sales experience.
