Morson are working with one of the UK's leading Aerospace Manufacturers who are looking for a Quality Systems Manager

Job Requirement

Support planning of all Q1Y2 process assurance activities by liaising with project managers and engineers.
Liaise with the Design Office and other stakeholders to support the deployment of relevant processes.
Review and provide feedback on planning activities, including related documentation, to secure deployment of applicable processes for the system development.
Perform detailed validation and verification quality checks across the lifecycle of the system development [Systems and Software Engineering - System Life Cycle Processes, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288] and document results such as:
Check completeness of requirements cascade and their correct definition.
Check applicability of verification results with respect to requirement validation.
Check effectiveness of the management of potential non-compliances.
Perform detailed documentation quality checks, for some of the system development deliverables, and document results.
Attend and support process assurance meetings by presenting results of quality checks and defining recovery actions.
Compile process assurance documentation and manage document validation with various stakeholders.
Compile, deliver and present relevant reporting on process assurance status to different stakeholders.
Skills

Knowledge and skills in Systems Engineering.
Knowledge and skills in Auditing/Surveillance.
Proven leadership ability, such as interacting and influencing.
Understanding of V & V.
Experience in quality checks.
Education

Finally, a level of academic qualification in Engineering and previous Quality Management experience in the Aerospace industry would prove to be advantageous.
