A global manufacturer of precision components, supplying a diverse range of industries, is seeking a Quality Manager to join its growing team. Based on-site in Birmingham, the company produces complex products using a mix of manual and automated manufacturing techniques across various materials. With significant growth underway and expansion across multiple operational areas, this is a key opportunity for a quality professional to take full ownership of the function and help shape best practices in line with ambitious business plans. The role offers a competitive package with a salary of around £60,000, a bonus scheme, daytime hours with a flexible early finish on Fridays, 33 days of annual leave, and the autonomy to truly make the role their own.

Quality Manager duties include -

Support plant process reviews and dealt with supplier-related concerns.
Manage any issues and liaise with the manufacturing team.
Develop and maintain company quality management systems.
Create and update SOP's, detailing daily controls and procedures for all processes.
Generate monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Develop and maintain Control Plans and support related activities such as FMEA, PPAP, and 8D.
Upskill staff and drive continuous improvements across the plant.Quality Manager desirable skills and experience -

Experience leading a Quality team within a manufacturing environment.
Sector experience - Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial, or Yellow Goods.
Ability to use the relevant core tools to help drive best practices.
Systems trained, examples would be - ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.Quality Manager position benefits include -
