Location: Banbury, Oxon
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

We are now seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Manager / Quality Systems Manager to drive their quality and compliance initiatives forward.

The Role

As the Quality Assurance Manager / Quality Systems Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also take on Health & Safety responsibilities, making this a highly impactful role in our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Oversee and maintain our QMS to ISO 17025 standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.

  • Audit & Compliance: Lead internal audits, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support external audits (customer and accreditation bodies, including NADCAP where applicable).

  • Process Improvement: Develop and refine quality processes to enhance efficiency, product consistency, and compliance.

  • Health & Safety: Take ownership of Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

  • Customer & Supplier Interaction: Work closely with customers and suppliers to uphold quality standards, address concerns, and implement corrective actions.

  • Training & Development: Provide guidance and training on quality and compliance matters to staff across the organisation.

    What We’re Looking For

    To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Systems role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 (essential), NADCAP would be ideal but not mandatory.

  • Internal auditing expertise with a track record of leading audits and implementing quality improvements.

  • A good Health & Safety management experience.

  • A methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing and engaging teams at all levels.
