Position: Quality Manager
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £45,000
This is an interesting and exciting opportunity to work with brand new products in a fast-paced tier 1/ tier 2 automotive environment.
Dealing with a wide range of customers from diverse industries such as, Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, Renewable energy and electronics your role will be to provide the direction to continue to grow as a quality conscious manufacturing company. This will be a hands-on role with customer interaction as well as championing quality and improving systems throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 & IATF16949 and maintain certifications
  
• Responsible for the Quality Management System
  
• Work closely with customers to ensure that any concerns are resolved
  
• Responsible for route cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  
• Drive continuous improvement across the site
  
• Ensuring all internal audits are conducted on time
  
• Responsibility for FMEAs and Control Plans reviews
  
• Provide regular quality performance reports for the management team
  Desired Skills:
  
• Degree educated – Engineering, Math, Science or similar
  
• Strong quality background within manufacturing
  
• Fully conversant with IS9001 and IATF16949
  
• Internal auditing experience
  
• Auditor training is considered an advantage
  
• Strong problem solving skills – 8D, 5Y, Route Cause Analysis
  
• Continuous Improvement experience – Lean / Six Sigma training is an advantage though not essential
