Job Title: Quality Manager

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Quality Manager to take a central role in ensuring adherence to rigorous industry standards in a highly regulated sector. This position involves ensuring complete supply chain traceability, from material sourcing to delivering finished products. As a key member of the quality team, you will lead by example, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and driving excellence across all quality functions.

Core Responsibilities:

Oversee and sustain compliance with AS9120 standards and other relevant regulations.
Manage and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality control processes.
Act as the primary contact for resolving quality issues with both customers and suppliers.
Coordinate and lead audits conducted by external parties, regulatory bodies, or customers.
Ensure timely completion of internal and supplier audit schedules.
Supervise product inspections and ensure accurate reporting, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
Manage the processes for handling non-conformance (NC) and return material authorisation (RMA).
Track and report quality performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Support and act as a deputy for the Quality Director when necessary.Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in quality management, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or defence industries.
Comprehensive understanding of AS9100 or AS9120 standards (ISO 9001 experience is also acceptable).
Skilled in conducting both internal and external audits.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and problem resolution.
Experience working with machined components and related manufacturing processes.
Competent in interpreting technical drawings and applying tolerance standards
