QUALITY INSPECTOR - South Birmingham, Permanent - Twilight Shift

EMBS Engineering are working with one of our long-standing partners, who have established themselves as one of the market-leading precision engineering companies within the UK regarding their manufacturing capabilities. As such, our client is seeking an Inspector to join their company on a permanent basis. The business is currently experiencing growth and holds a strong order book with new and existing customers.

In return, the client is offering:

  • Permanent position

  • Competitive rates - £13.50 - £14.20 (+ £2.50 shift allowance paid across all hours worked)

  • Hours - Twilight shift (39 hours p/w - 4.30pm to 2.30am Monday to Thursday, early finish on Friday)

  • Internal & external training and development opportunities

    Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of carrying out "first off" inspections using manual equipment

  • Working to tight tolerances of 0.01mm

  • Confidence with analyzing and recording results to be able to make appropriate quality decisions

  • Strong ability to manage workloads effectively and work in an organized, efficient manner
