In this hands-on role, you’ll support our Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares (VSSS) Team, ensuring everything we design, integrate and deliver meets rigorous quality requirements. From supplier reviews to internal audits, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our vehicles perform in the toughest conditions – and that our standards never slip.

What you’ll do:


Conduct inspections, audits and surveillance to ensure product and process compliance
Investigate issues using root cause tools and lead corrective actions
Support internal teams and suppliers with documentation reviews (FAIR, PSW, etc.)
Lead and contribute to APQP, FMEA, PPAP and quality assurance processes
Report quality metrics and maintain Q-status visibility across projects
Liaise with suppliers and customers, supporting site visits and progressive assurance
Drive continuous improvement and support lean manufacturing initiatives

What you’ll bring:

  • HND/HNC in Manufacturing or Engineering preferred

  • Experience in a defence or automotive production environment

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and QA tools

  • Experience with FAIRs, audits, and supplier quality

  • Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset

  • Familiarity with AQAP standards and Def Stans is a bonus – but we’ll support your training
