The Role

This role would be excellent for an experienced Quality Engineer with a passion for continuous improvement and a strong background in the automotive industry. You will have proven ISO 9001 experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Quality Control & Assurance for high-volume operations.

  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement by analyzing Non-Conforming Products (NCP) daily.

  • Drive the implementation of new standards like IATF and ISO 14001 within our Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Manage customer and supplier relationships, ensuring top-tier quality standards.

  • Lead site audits for systems, processes, and products.

  • Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documentation, including PPAP.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience in Quality Engineering, ideally in the automotive sector.

  • Strong experience in managing and organising small teams in a manufacturing environment.

  • Expertise in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF, VDA 6.3 audit policies, and inspection techniques for plastic mouldings.

  • Knowledge of health & safety and environmental procedures.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
