Are you passionate about quality and keen to make a difference in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment? My client is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team and uphold high standards in compliance, safety, and innovation.

This varied and hands-on role involves internal auditing, laboratory testing, process monitoring, and team supervision to ensure compliance with BRC Packaging Standards and HACCP principles. You'll also collaborate cross-functionally to drive new business projects, support quality initiatives, and assist with audits, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits, including GMP, hygiene, and site standards.
Play a key role in the HACCP team, contributing your expertise.
Perform laboratory tests, create material reports, and manage supplier non-conformances.
Respond to customer queries, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards by monitoring factory processes.
Supervise a small team of QA Technicians.
Support customer and external audits (e.g., BRC, ISO 9001, Ethical, ISCC).
Drive innovation as part of the NPD team, fostering new business opportunities.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in quality assurance within the packaging or food industry.
Internal Auditor qualification.
HACCP Level 3 certification (minimum).
BRC training and experience.
Excellent communication skills, initiative, and risk-based thinking.
