Job Summary
Are you looking for a role with the opportunity to broaden your network internally and externally? Where you also work according to an overall picture of the company? The Central Quality Department at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB (GAS), will now employ a new member within the Quality Department.
Job Responsibilities
Planning, performance of and reporting of internal and supplier audits.
Internal audits are performed with a strong intention to improve all areas of GAS by focusing areas such as Quality, Health , Safety & Environment (HSE) and Risk & Crisis Management.
Both internal- & supplier audits covers System-, Special Process- and Product audits, on site at all of the suppliers/ sources to and at GAS. Coordination of audits from our customers and registrar at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB will also be a part of your job. This includes initiation of subsequent root cause analysis and follow up of corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
Lead or participate in different quality projects and/or improvement teams. It is also assumed that you actively contribute to our continuous development of our methods for audits of quality, environment and risk & crisis management as well as participate in giving our Management an updated and analyzed status report for the company.
Identify and share across the business, best practices and support continuous improvement of the BMS/QMS and its processes.
You will do your job in different roles in audit teams as well as very independent.
Job Qualifications
Engineering background and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Work experience about manufacturing processes, product development as well as quality and/or lab.evaluation. Experience in working with and visiting suppliers that have created a knowledge of supplier quality and process improvements such as problem solving at suppliers. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems , Quality Tools ,Six sigma etc. Good knowledge in English
Desirable qualification
Experience in supplier audits Aerospace business knowledge IRCA Lead Auditor course ( 5 day’s , or similar)

You are able to give priority to what is important to the business operation and have strong integrity. You are customer focused and a strong communicator. You are structured and committed do deliver agreed results. Good analytical ability Open minded, mainly open to adjust to changing work environment.
