ENG Bauen proudly announces an exciting opportunity for a QA/QC Lead to join a globally recognised EPC. As a Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in upholding and improving quality standards across diverse sectors in the UK.

In this position, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing quality control measures across multi-discipline engineering teams ensuring all standards. Flexibility and a willingness to work away from home are essential for success in this role. Your main duties will be to apply your knowledge of quality management systems, detect and fix quality concerns, and work with clients to solve technical difficulties and streamline procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• QA/QC Lead within a regulated, high-stakes environment
  
  
• Cross-functional collaboration with diverse engineering teams
  
  
• Lead quality operations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and standardization of documentation; oversee a brownfield project on a chemical site
  
  
• Create and manage project audit schedules, conduct audits, and compile comprehensive audit reports
  
  
• Maintain full responsibility for managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) for project-related defects and deviations from specification
  
  Ideal Candidate Profile:
  
  
• Demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and developing Quality Plans
  
  
• Previous experience with an EPCM/EPC company is highly beneficial
  
  
• Familiarity with fabrication and insulation processes is preferred
  
  
• Engineering qualifications (BSc, MEng, BEng, HNC) preferred
  
  
• Qualifications: Internal Auditor qualification (IRCA) and CQI certification are essential
  
  
• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance within a regulated industry such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Aerospace
  
  
• Documentation: Skilled in developing project QA documentation, including Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
