Job Title:Propulsion Service Manager

Location:Portsmouth Naval Base - Onsite only

Salary:£50,600-£55,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead a specialist team of engineers to deliver commissioning, diagnostics, and defect rectification for assigned projects
  • Plan, resource, schedule, and supervise the daily activities of engineers to maximize team utilization and efficiency
  • Provide both administrative and technical supervision for engineers, including performance reviews and coordination of training and development
  • Develop and implement safe systems of work in compliance with the company's SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) and product safety procedures
  • Apply expertise to solve complex commissioning and diagnostic problems across various systems and equipment
  • Lead the handover of systems and present trials to ship staff
