Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team, working on sites in and around the Kettering area.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring safety audits & toolbox talks are completed as per KPI targets.

Ensuring all personnel are equipped with the required clothing and PPE

Work cohesively and communicate effectively with other site streams along with support departments such as HR, Accounts/Payroll, Design & Reliability Teams.

Delivery of Capital Projects (M&E) activities to Weetabix.

Submit Quotations for project work up to the value of £250k

Co-ordinate with client engineering, production and quality teams to schedule in work and ensure alignment with project goals.

Ensure quote backlog is kept under KPI targets.

Liaise with the Client to identify job requirements and define scope of works.

Design, develop and deliver competitive tender packages in a timely manner

Upon receipt of purchase order advise accounts team of estimated completion date and estimated GP

Develop site strategic plans with other managers

Identify job risks and implement risk management strategies

Engage and manage third party contractors

Report job status and progress to stakeholders from receipt of  purchase order to job completion

Manage manpower and materials processes to ensure cost effective delivery of revenue works

Liaise with Team Leaders & Site Management to assess impact of labour requirements.

Monitor and control job budget reporting to Account Director.

Understand job scope, implement and manage job variations and costs

Ensure Task Based Risk Assessment and Method Statements are submitted for approval in a timely fashion

Monitor job quality to relevant Code of Practice (CoP) and compliance with issued Task Based Risk Assessment and Method Statement

Regularly update Weetabix Business Unit Engineers of progress and attend pre / post project planning meetings

Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 (Quality), OHSA 18001 (Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental).

Ensure that all sub- contractor work or items purchased have a PO number raised and issued

Ensure all Team Leaders are aware of job numbers and time sheets are completed at the end of each day

Lead jobs from conception to completion

Actively assist with recruitment and on site interviews

Develop and maintain skills matrix for team, identifying skills/training gaps
