EMBS Engineering is proud to partner with a leading precision engineering company in Northampton, a manufacturing specialist with a strong history of supplying complex, detailed, and safety-critical components to highly reputable organisations within the Motorsport, Automotive, and Aerospace markets.

We're seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Production Planner to join their team. This isn't just an administrative role; we're looking for someone proactive who can challenge existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive solutions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

    Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Orchestrate customer demand within the MRP system, ensuring production aligns with overall business goals

  • Conduct a thorough capacity analysis against customer forecasts to optimise resource allocation

  • Actively monitor shop floor progress, addressing delays and re-prioritising tasks to maintain flow

  • Facilitate regular operational meetings to review production status and resolve potential issues

  • Collaborate closely with the procurement team to guarantee timely material availability for project completion

    To Be Successful, You Must Possess:

  • Proven planning & scheduling experience in a machine manufacturing environment

  • A proactive approach, comfortable with shop-floor engagement

  • Ability to challenge existing parameters, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions

  • Demonstrable experience working on KPIs such as OTIF Delivery, Quality, and Cost

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar planning role within engineering/manufacturing
