Product Support Engineer - mtu rail engines

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Service Technician to join Rolls-Royce Power Systems at one of the depots at the locations mentioned above.

In this role, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mtu rail products to the standard specified in the approved manuals and in accordance with the requirements of the contracts. You will also embrace digitalisation.

In this engaging role, you'll have the opportunity to further develop your skills by performing maintenance and repairs on mtu rail engines and ensuring they meet the highest standards and work as per our Customer's requirements.

What you will be doing:

In this interesting role you will:
Perform preventative, scheduled maintenance and/or corrective maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule, manuals and contract.Actively participate in the ongoing continuous improvement activities for both maintenance and procedures. Make new suggestions for improvements.Attend meetings with the Customer to obtain sign off for work that has been carried out on the Customer's equipment.Completion of relevant documentation for all work carried out to accurately reflect the activities for the company and the customer. Accurately report parts used during service work as per internal processes to ensure our stock is effectively controlled and accounted for.Proactive involvement in the Company's HSQE management processes. Maintain cleanliness of the SGB onsite facilities.Attend local and factory training courses when necessary to ensure your skills remain current.
