The Role – Senior Project Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity for a talented Senior Project Engineer to join a prominent aerospace engineering business in Gloucestershire.

This is an in-depth hands-on role contributing to the design, analysis, development, testing, and qualification of complex, hydraulic systems and products.

You’ll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you’ll be able to make a real impact to the future of the business.

Duties – Senior Project Engineer

3D design and 2D drawing creation.
Mathematical modelling (e.g. Excel, MathCAD, MatLab/Simulink, FEA).
Aerospace configuration control and quality systems management.
Utilization of common machining and fabrication processes.
Development of assembly techniques and associated tooling.
Development of qualification test methods.
Compilation of clear and concise analysis and test reports
Presentation and day to day communication with customer.
Utilisation of project management principles.

Background - Senior Project Engineer

Mechanical engineering experience and training. (Ideally Degree level)
Problem-solving and investigation skills.
Familiarity with analytical methods and software.
Confidence with creating drawings and models.
Some knowledge of aerospace materials and their properties
