Our client, a leading global player in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Support Engineer to join their team in Burnley. What You'll Be Doing

You will play a pivotal role in driving cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives across key programmes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll support the integration of new business projects and ensure performance aligns with the company's strategic goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and coordinating cost-down and continuous improvement initiatives

Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs)

Collaborating with engineering, supply chain, production, and quality teams

Supporting production teams to meet quality, cost, and timeline targets

Using data to inform process improvements and identify business risks

Building strong relationships with stakeholders to meet customer needs

What We're Looking For:

A degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience

Prior experience working within an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
Proven background in project or operations management

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly sheet metal production

Demonstrated success in leading cost-down projects in a manufacturing environment

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

Preferred: Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification, factory floor experience, and knowledge of CAD or product design
