Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our Global Support Team, focusing on our Power and Magnetics product line. This role involves supporting components vital for power and filtering circuitry, including RF and Power Inductors, Common mode Chokes (CMC), Transformers, Ethernet magnetics, Ferrite Beads, and other power management components. 

Work Environment:The successful candidate will be positioned as a full-time employee at either Abracon’s HQ in Austin, Texas or our office in Salford, England. The candidate will have the option to engage in a hybrid work-from-home arrangement. For exceptional skillsets, full-time remote work can be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a key stakeholder in managing the product line’s revenue growth and profitability Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new products, ensuring successful product launches Provide comprehensive support throughout the product lifecycle, including new product introductions, customer support, product maintenance, and end-of-life evaluations Partner with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to drive the adoption and success of the product Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs and define next-generation product roadmaps Present new product proposals, margins, performance, and projections to the leadership teams Deliver presentations and training sessions to sales teams, sales representatives, distribution partners, and customers Effectively communicate market needs and trends to engineering teams to guide new product development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field Advanced Business or Finance degree (Master's or PhD) preferred 2-3 years experience as an electrical / component / applications / product engineer or, 1-2 years experience as a field application engineer for a component manufacturer or component distributor or 1-3 years experience in product management or related role Knowledge in product lifecycle management Demonstrated expertise in product design, development or sales within the power electronic components industry Profound knowledge of electrical circuit theory, electromagnetic principles, and power electronics Demonstrated proficiency in market research and data analysis Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in working independently in a fast-paced environment.
