Job Title: Process Engineer - Injection Moulding

Location: Staffordshire

Salary: £40K - £50K (DOE)

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Process Engineer to join our injection moulding team. You'll be on the shop floor solving day-to-day processing issues while also applying scientific and analytical methods to improve quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

 Troubleshoot and resolve moulding process issues quickly to minimise downtime

Develop, document and optimise injection moulding, paint and robotic assembly processes, using scientific principles

Support new tool trials and process validation

Analyse process data to identify trends and implement improvements

Work closely with operators, technicians and quality teams to maintain consistent production standards

Train shop floor staff on best practices for process control

Requirements

 Strong experience in injection moulding (hands-on essential)

Solid understanding of scientific moulding principles (DOE, decoupled moulding etc.)

Ability to interpret process data and make informed adjustments

Good communication skills, able to work well with production teams

Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
