We have built up an enviable customer base in defence and aerospace and are now seeking to extend our presence and influence in the rail and public utility sectors – all of which are showing a growing appetite for the type of rigorous system engineering we advocate.We contribute to some of the foremost engineering projects in the UK, typically supporting large and complex engineering programmes through the application of systems engineering principles. Some of our key projects include support to various submarine programmes, adaptive camouflage for the British Army, Architectural support on Typhoon and F-35 platforms, cyber security support to EW systems. Our customers benefit from lean delivery of agile projects, utilising best practices developed across a range of industries.The Role:Having taken on some exciting new customers and projects of late, we are looking to enhance our internal capabilities in order to meet growing demand from our customer base. As such, it is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing company and would allow the opportunity to have a meaningful influence on the direction of Synoptix as well as your own career.As a Principal Systems Engineer at Synoptix you will be helping guide the scope and direction of the engineering projects you are working on. As an agile business in the true sense the Principal Systems Engineer will be given the relative freedom to take ownership at the strategic level of the project.
