Senior / Principal Systems Engineer

c.£70-80k DOE & bonus & bens

HYBRID WORKING –minimum 2 days on site in Medway

37 hours per week- FLEXI TIME,core hours 10am – 3pm with an early finish every Friday!

Our client is looking for awell-educated, knowledgeable Systems Engineer, capable of acting as a senior within a small but established team.

You will be part of the continuous support of existing systems, and the development of new systems for a range ofdefenceandcommercialproducts.

The key duties for this role include:

Making use of a Model Based Systems Engineering approach, developing complex systems to fit customers intricate needs. Develop, manage and validate requirements at many levels. Analysis and test of systems containing electronic, mechanical, optical and software sub systems. Provide continuous guidance and coaching to other engineers. Using Lean techniques to lead new system development.

The successful candidate will have/be:

Proven experience developing complex systems in relevant industries. A degree or equivalent in a relevant Systems Engineering subject. Experience in requirements management, modelling and simulation and design analysis. Customer liaison skills. An understanding of safety assessment processes and information assurance.
