About the Role

We seek a talented and drivenPower Supply Design Engineerwith 3–4 years of experience in DC/DC converter design. You will be an integral part of our client's engineering team, working on innovative projects to design and develop high-efficiency power supply systems for diverse applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimiseDC/DC power converters(buck, boost, buck-boost, etc.) for various applications.
  • Performcircuit design and simulationusing tools such as LTspice, PSpice, or equivalent.
  • Conductcomponent selection, including inductors, capacitors, MOSFETs, and controllers, ensuring cost and performance balance.
  • Design and implementPCB layoutswith an emphasis on high efficiency, thermal management, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
  • Evaluate and validate designs throughprototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Support production teams in scaling designs for manufacturing.
  • Stay updated on advancements in power electronics and incorporate cutting-edge technologies into designs.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience inDC/DC converter designand development.
  • Proficiency inpower circuit design and simulationtools (e.g., LTspice, PSpice).
  • Strong understanding ofanalog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Experience withPCB design software(e.g., Altium, KiCAD, Eagle).
  • Knowledge ofthermal managementtechniques andEMI/EMC compliance.
  • Hands-on experience withlab equipmentsuch as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and electronic loads.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.


Preferred Experience

  • Exposure towide bandgap semiconductors(e.g., SiC, GaN).
  • Knowledge ofpower management ICs (PMICs)and control algorithms.
  • Familiarity withautomotive, aerospace, or industrial standards(e.g., ISO 26262, DO-160).
