Up to £60,000 per annum DOE car allowance.

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence in a manufacturing environment? Our client is looking for a driven Operations Manager to lead their production operation and drive success across Safety, Quality, Cost, and People.
Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, you’ll be at the heart of their mission to deliver Zero Harm, Zero Defects, and world-class productivity. This is your chance to make a real impact in a business that values continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion HSE compliance and Zero Harm initiatives across your area.
Deliver Zero Defects through process control, standard work, and defect reduction strategies.
Manage TOC lines, schedules, and on-time delivery to meet customer expectations.
Lead, coach, and develop Production Team Leaders and Operators to achieve their best.
Meet budget targets, optimise labour costs, and manage daily production plans.
Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to meet plant goals.
Use Lean tools (6S, FMEA, SPC, PDCA) to boost performance and eliminate waste.
Build a flexible, skilled, and engaged workforce in a unionised setting.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven leadership in a manufacturing setting, ideally aerospace or similar.
Experience in fast paced environments and people management.
Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in continuous improvement methodologies – Lean, Six Sigma.
Comfortable managing budgets, priorities, and high-performance teams.
Solid knowledge of ISO9001, OSHA18001, ISO14001 is a plus.
