You will be joiningour experience welding team working on the fabrication of complexpressure vessels and pipework. You will be involved with the welding of arange of materials using various manual and mechanised weldingprocesses. We have a mixture of both manual Tungsten Inert Gas(TIG) operations and multi-hour Mechanised TIG and Metal Inert Gas(MIG) welding operations, so flexibility across both types of workis essential. You will be working within an environment that ismaintained to a high standard, with clear procedures and processcontrol to meet the quality specifications required of our product.What you will be doing: You will be responsible for welding productto nuclear standards using technical instructions, manufacturingdrawings, and written specifications. - Ensuring compliance toprocess control and workplace cleanliness standards. - You will bewelding to high specifications that will be subject to inspectionpotentially including X-Ray, Ultrasonic (U/T) and Liquid PenetrantInspection (LPI). - You will be working with the latest weldingtechnology including a variety of mechanised technology for bothstatic and rotational welding configurations. - Performing weldingprocedures in a range of positions including 6G. - You will workwithin a team to resolve production and quality issues and have theflexibility to undertake other tasks and activities when productionwork is not required. Your role will be an integral part of ourmanufacturing process and will enable Rolls-Royce to maintain ourexcellent quality standards.
