Our client has an opportunity for an Occupational Health Advisor to join them on a contract basis for 12 months. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the ongoing development and delivery of an efficient, effective, and high quality OH service.

Role: Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Bristol
Hours: Mon - Fri core hours 9 - 4 but there is some flex on this (Full time could accommodate 2 days WFH depending on work - not guaranteed)
Clearance: BPSS required to start, full SC to follow. UKI's only due to project
Hourly Rate: Up to £40ph via Umbrella, inside IR35

Part time will also be considered for this role however would be 3 days minimum fully onsite.

The role will involve:
Delivering a proactive face to face technical function involving, health surveillance, health pre-employment assessments, fitness assessments, lifestyle screening and health & wellbeing campaigns
The role requires strong communication skills to work collaboratively with HR, Line Managers and our Health & Safety colleagues. The role is mainly site based due to the nature of the work, with some flexibility to occasionally work dynamically from home. The role may require occasional travel to other sites to ensure consistency of service.
Applicants will need the full remit of OH skills including case management, health surveillance, fitness for work medicals and travel health awareness. As part of our wellbeing offering we also carry out wellness assessments within our team which will require phlebotomy skills.

Requirements:

An NMC Registered general Nurse - Essential
Experienced OH Nursing setting - Essential
Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner (SCPHN) with qualification (part 3)
Phlebotomy skills - desirable - willing to have training
Experienced in Spirometry and audiometry (formally trained- essential)
Travel health experience - desirable
ECG skills - desirable - training can be given
Passionate about health & wellbeing
A self-starter - to succeed in this role, you need to be proactive, organised and able to multi-task well
Excellent IT skills and ability to use OH data management system
