Our Charity client has an opportunity for a Membership Services Executiveto work across the Geospatial community.

Ideally, The role will start part-time, but as volumes grow, it will become full-time. There will be a complete relaunch at the end of January including the website. We are very flexible and can work around your needs/desires.

The role can be fully remote, hybrid or office-based, depending on where you live. We have an office in Leicester, but there is no requirement to be there. If you are based in or near Leicester, then you can use the office when required. There will be some need to travel to meetings. Probably once a month. But flexible on location

*The starting salary will be £23,000-£25,000 per annum FTE (pro rata) with a rapid development increments plan plus 5% of any net surplus*

About the client
We are a registered Charity and Membership organisation for the Geospatial community that exists to promote educational activities in remote sensing and photogrammetry to the public. The Society also provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and information related to earth observation. There are approximately 1000 members worldwide. The Society is the UK's affiliating body and it fosters links between international, commercial, industrial and academic organisations.

How you expect the candidate to spend their day:

A wide variety of tasks: Membership customer service Membership sales and onboarding Membership administration Updating and maintenance of membership services (events programme, newsletter, website, LinkedIn) Administration of CRM (Hubspot) Management of day-to-day finances

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:No specific qualification requirements. As important as experience and skills are a can-do/will-to-learn attitude is key. This is an opportunity for someone to learn and develop their skills and take on more responsibility. You need to pay attention to detail and be able to follow processes and procedures. As you learn the role, we will expect you to take on more responsibility for improving the policies and procedures.

Essential
We are seeking an enthusiastic, but detail-oriented and proactive person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the customer service/sales and financial operations of the organisation by managing various sales/customer service/administration tasks.

We are looking for someone organised and proficient in both computerised systems and office applications, ensuring accurate data entry and effective communication among the team and members.

Desirable
Experience in IT systems (website maintenance and CRM administration)
