Mechanical Installation Engineer

Nottingham (travel and working away)

Up to £40K

Permanent

Working with a well-established fire & security company who are on the look out for an experienced engineer to join their installation team.

Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Installation Engineer

Working within the Waste & Recycling industry
Work from 2D and 3D drawings to install predominantly Geberit Mapress fittings and pipework.
Installation of DN250 pipe work assemblies for suction lines, fittings, valves and other suppression parts equipment as required.
Installation of Unistrut frameworks for equipment installation.
Assistance to the Fire Alarm team to install mechanical protection of conduits, cable containment.
Focus on quality finishes in a timely manner.
Complete any paperwork as applicable.
Have a can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Qualifications & Experience – Mechanical Installation Engineer

IPAF 3a & 3b Training or renewal can be arranged
Minimum 2 years pipe fitting experience preferable.
Willingness to work closely with the Fire Alarm Install Team, understand the projects as a whole and work jointly to get the project over the line.
On Offer – Mechanical Installation Engineer

Up to £40K + overtime
Travel and working away from home (Over 1.5hrs) Monday to Friday
Paid door to door
Company Vehicle is provided
Full training will be provided
Accommodation and overnight allowance paid
