Job Location: Central Poole

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: up to £14.35 per hour (up to £28,000 per annum)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, days (Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm & Friday 7.30am – 1pm)

A well-known Engineering company based in Poole that builds interesting mechanical products used within mechanical propulsion are recruiting for a number of Mechanical Fitters to build their products.

This role will see you working to drawings, build specifications and spec sheets to assemble their products and ancillaries to customer requirements.

This is a brilliant role for those who have experience of mechanical assembly or fitting to work within a busy company in a modern, clean and vibrant environment building high end interesting products.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Previous experience within Mechanics, Mechanical Fitting, Mechanical Assembly or general engineering undertaking mechanical fitting is essential

  • Good working knowledge of using hand and power tools is essential

  • Ability to pick new things up quickly

  • Be willing to learn and have a 'can do attitude’

  • The ability to work within a team

  • Knowledge of working to drawings

    Hours: 37.5 hours per week, days (Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm & Friday 7.30am – 1pm)
