About the Role

As a key member of the engineering team, you will work on groundbreaking projects, helping to shape the future of industry-leading products. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, performance and reliability of products, ensuring they meet both customer needs and industry regulatory standards.

Key Tasks:

Mechanical design, analysis and qualification activities for new and existing products
Perform engineering assessments, calculations and evaluations to ensure product compliance
Develop mechanical specifications and select appropriate components
Plan and execute physical test campaigns, documenting and reporting findings
Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver engineering solutions
Identify areas for continuous improvement, helping to enhance product design and performance
Work within an established project management framework to deliver high-quality results on time

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
2-5 years of experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, defence, automotive, oil & gas or similar)
Experience using 3D CAD and able to produce calculations on designs
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application
Experience in mechanical design, testing and analysis
Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience of qualification and validation processes
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
