As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, a minimum of three days per week.You will be responsible for authoring, reviewing, and verifying Marine and Mechanical designs for power distribution systems; Design of systems using Systems Engineering principals including the use of Robust Design tools & techniques to achieve optimum solutions at product and sub-system level.• Problem resolution experience including ownership of, for example: root cause investigations, problem reports, Red Tops, Safety Alert Reports (SARs), Quality Concerns, Major Quality Investigations (MQIs), Drawing Alteration Requests (DARs). Planning and management of product change, design technical approval and technical investigations.• These principles form our values and behaviours and are an essential component of our assessment process and are fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles. Specifically, the Principal Mechanical Engineer must:Be educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline with experience in design techniques.• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and understand crossdiscipline engineering concepts which include but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering and product definition.• Are experienced in designing equipment to operate to naval, military, or similar environmental or regulatory standards.By building a culture of respect and appreciation, we give everyone who works here the opportunity to realise their full potential.You can learn more about our global Inclusion strategy atTo apply for this role, you must be able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
