Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer (Battery Packs/Creo)
Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
£40 - £48 per hour DOE (Umbrella) Inside IR35

Excellent opportunity for an Electromechanical Design Engineer from a manufacturing background with Creo experience who is looking for an exciting role working on a range of innovative projects with a market leading business.

Do have experience taking products from concept design through to production? Are you looking for a varied role on state of the art projects?

This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will be working as part of an established team where you will be working on a range of projects from cradle to grave. You will be working to design key components for battery packs such as Electrical System components, assemblies, LV harness and HV Cables.

They use Creo (Electrical) as their design software and candidates will need experience with this and 3D CAD packages. This role will be working 37 hours a week, 5 days per week on site with some potential for flexibility.

The Role:

3D CAD design (CREO) of Electrical System components, assemblies, LV harness and HV Cables
Taking projects from cradle to grave
Long term 12-month contract The Person:

Electromechanical Design Engineer from a background in the automotive, aerospace or manufacturing sectors
Previous experience working with Creo (Electrical) similar 3D CAD package for battery packs, harness, etc.
Looking for a long term 12-month contract with a market leading company
