Our client based in Farnborough are looking for a Material handler on a Contract basis with the potential to go Permananent for the right candidate. our client has 4 Manufacturing plants worldwide along with R&D and repair capabilities. Their world-renowned expertise, place them at the forefront of suppliers. They have approximately 200 employees in their UK facility which is heavily focused on Design and manufacture.
Responsibilities

  • Be able to despatch sales orders to customer this includes, Generate despatch paperwork, pick, pack and release to customer specifications and requirements.
  • Booking work orders to stock and putting away in the correct store’s location
  • Reordering gas bottles as required.
  • Control and ordering of all packaging material
  • Goods Inwards, be competent on all aspects of goods receiving, and be able to book in all types of purchase orders whether from a supplier or Mexico.
  • Control of all parts with a shelf life
  • Daily cycle counts
  • Generate all paperwork and labels, as well as being able to pick all Temperature, Speed and P&D products as per picking lists to ensure traceability is maintained.
  • Generate all paperwork and labels for shipments to Mexico and be able to pick and pack them.
  • Be able to transfer and adjust stock on Baan.
  • Understand reason codes.
  • Scanning and uploading of documents on AutoForm
  • Maintain the highest standards of Housekeeping.
    Experience required.
  • Knowledge of Baan or comparable ERP system
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Be able to work not only on own initiative, but also as a team member.
  • The ability to work to the company’s and the customers procedures.
  • Good numerical and literacy skills
  • AS13001 approved or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an aerospace stores environment
    Essential:
    Staff in this grade will be expected to be skilled in all aspects of the stores and can train others. They must be familiar with the company’s procedures and be able to host auditors if required. They must fully understand the importance of traceability within an Aerospace store
