Job Summary

Follow standard work for material handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing) Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules Use adequate equipment (e.g. forklift, tow train) to move material Records movements of material in the transactional records systems (e.g. receipt, booking) Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency

Job Responsibilities

The focus of this role will be mostly around picking, packing and shipping of outbound materials; managing shipping, carriers etc. 

Management of outbound material flow

Monitoring of outbound delivery performance 

Maintaining inventory status

Job Qualifications

Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience working in a similar role; Forklift licence (B1 Counterbalance); CCDL; Physically fit and capable of undertaking this type of work; Willingness and ability to undertake shift work; Crane sling licence would be advantageous, but not essential; Eligibility to work in the UK
