Are you experienced leading a team within a manufacturing environment? Our client manufacturer precision engineering parts for the aerospace and power generation industries, who are looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader on a permanent basis. This role is 50% team leadership and 50% hands on, leading and supporting the team to deliver the planned workload and taking accountability for production objectives.

Salary dependent on experience
The role will require working on days for the first few months:
 Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm.
Then onto the late shift on a permanent basis:
Monday – Wednesday 4:30pm – 2:30am, Thursday 4:30pm – 1:30am.

Job Description

Manage a small team to ensure work is being carried out as required to business standards
Daily Walk the Floor routines to report on business KPIs including compliance to EHS, quality issues and any variations to the production plan.
Create a continuous improvement plan for your work area
Delivering shift handovers and daily start of shift briefings
Operating machinery as and when required
