The Role: This team provides data analyst support to interpret reports, deconstruct existing reports and liaise with the technical Extract Transform and Load (ETL) team to help design data warehouse solutions. They will translate customer reporting requirements, create Cognos digital dashboards and reporting solutions for the business. What you’ll be doing : You will p rovide knowledge to the business in a data analyst capacity to help articulate requirements Help to deconstruct and understanding existing reporting requirements Advise on reporting requirements and recommend analytic opportunities Translate business reporting requirements and engage with ETL team on data warehouse design Perform thorough data validation of data warehouse to enterprise system primary data Engage with customers during data warehouse design and report build process Create high specification visual and tabular reporting solution and dashboards as required Support the deployment of Self-Service Business Intelligence (BI) through Submarines Who we’re looking for: Being a part of Rolls-Royce you’ll know we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do. Expertise knowledge and understanding of IBM Cognos Analytics suite, Cognos Framework Manager, Reporting and Dashboard capability SAP competent in the context of business processes and data extraction Microsoft Office competent, Microsoft Excel in particular Experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts and ETL concepts Good general understanding of business executive systems, i.e. SAP, Oracle P6, ARM, Workday Strong business acumen skills, customer focus, self-motivation, with a commitment to delivery coupled with excellent communication skills and influencing skills.
