About the Job
Join our dynamic finance team at Trelleborg, a leading player in the manufacturing industry. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to support our financial operations and contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives.
As an integral part of the team, you will support our Financial Controller by producing accurate monthly management accounts, producing KPIs, conducting P&L reviews, and perform Balance Sheet reconciliations. You’ll prepare forecasts, support Excellence Programs, evaluate capital expenditure proposals, maintain the stock system, support year-end audits, and assist with monthly results submissions and provide ledger support across the team where needed.
A key part of this role will be to assist with SAP migration, so some experience with system migration and change would be beneficial.
This role is a full time opportunity, hours Monday-Thursday 8-5pm, Friday 8-2.30.
Key Responsibilities
The Management Accountant is responsible for:
- Review of income and expenditure to ensure accurate monthly management accounts
- Monthly production of KPI’s for management reporting
- P&L review including completion of explanatory causals
- Various Balance Sheet reconciliations, reviews and analysis
- Monthly forecasts
- Support and analysis of Excellence Programs (ME, PE, EE, WCE). Assistance in delivering improvements
- Provide support to SAP migration project
- Evaluation of capital expenditure proposals
- Assistance in maintaining stock system and during stock takes
- Assistance with year-end audit and accounts preparation
- Other tasks to assist with the smooth running of the department
- Support to the monthly submission of results to group
- Sales and Purchase Ledger support
Candidate Profile
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part-Qualified
- Experience in Management Accounts
- Advanced Excel skills (Macros, Pivot Tables, V-Look ups IF-ISERRORS, SUMIF, etc) and strong systems knowledge.
- Ability to retain and not share confidential information
To be effective in the role, you will need to be highly organised to deliver against deadlines, have an open mind and work with accuracy to provide high quality support.
