JMC Aviation are working with a MRO company based in Harlow, looking to recruit a new Machinist to join their team.
This client is a leading MRO providing outstanding aviation services for aircraft components including precision engineering and ground support. This family run company work to build a positive work ethic while helping their employees progress within their roles.
This is a Permanent Position based in Harlow.
Working 37 hours per week (Mon - Thu 07:30 - 16:00 & Fri 07:30 - 12:30).

    The Role
    The primary purpose of this role is to carry out a range of general and specialised tasks to support the workshops.
    Other duties involve:
  • Use a range of machinery including but not limited to, Lathes, Mills, Jig Borers, Grinders to perform repairs to customers equipment in accordance with their order requirements and the approved technical data.
  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks to machinery as required.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and ensure the correct use of PPE.
  • Removal and installation of bushings / bearings / cups / liners as required.
    In order to be successful in this role the Machinist will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • Ability to manage own time to work efficiently and to deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering data and drawings
  • Previous experience within the aerospace industry is desirable but not essential
  • Right to live and work in the UK
