An established and growing manufacturing company is seeking a highly organised and experienced Logistics Executive to join its dynamic supply chain team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of inbound and outbound goods, while driving continuous improvement across logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities as Logistics Executive will be to: -

Plan and manage logistics capacity to support factory operations, warehousing, and outbound distribution.
Liaise with third-party logistics providers to ensure optimal service at the best value.
Coordinate outbound deliveries (including groupage, full loads, and collections), ensuring accurate consignment preparation and efficient routing.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance with UK regulatory requirements.
Provide clear and complete customs instructions (e.g., HS Codes, CPC, Importer/Exporter of Record, VAT/duty allocations).
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks by implementing process improvements.
Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly operational meetings, offering insight and reporting on logistics performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.
Support a culture of continuous improvement and professional collaboration within the logistics function.The successful candidate will: -

Have experience in logistics, ideally with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs processes and required documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Highly organised, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively across internal departments and external partners.
Able to prioritise, multi-task, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Commercially aware, with sound judgement and a solutions-driven mindset.On offer: -
