As a , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintainability and efficiency of equipment and infrastructure within production and processing facilities.

You will work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to develop strategies and solutions aimed at optimizing the performance and lifespan of assets while minimizing maintenance downtime and installation risks.

In your role you’ll have to conceptualize and design solutions and tools to optimize the maintenance and installation of new components in existing plants, and to intervene in the NPDs (New Product Development) by introducing the concept of Design For Maintainability, aimed at developing products oriented as much to performance as to maintainability over time. 

As a Lead Maintainability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing innovative methodologies for installation & maintenance of BH equipment.  Conducting detailed 3D simulations and clash analysis evaluations of equipment installations and facility layouts. Identify opportunities to enhance maintainability through thoughtful design and spatial planning, and work closely with stakeholders to implement design improvements. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement solutions that optimize maintainability and accessibility. Conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping tools and solutions tailored to specific maintenance challenges and operational requirements. Leverage your creativity and technical expertise to develop innovative solutions that streamline maintenance tasks and improve overall efficiency. Conducting comprehensive assessments of lifting operations, incorporating design principles to ensure safety and efficiency.

Have aMaster Degreein Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace/Energy Engineering Have a solid background withprofessional experiencein Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering. Haveprofessional experience in the field of Maintainability, Design and Field activitiesHave experience inTurbomachineryHave knowledge of mechanical systems configuration and structural design. Demonstrate good computer skills and be familiar with CAD modelling, FEA, programming.Be fluent in English both oral and writtenDemonstrate effective skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with the team and the internal and external customers Be able to travel internationally Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solve problems and provide solutions Exhibit the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsibility for fully understanding and complying with company policies Be proficient in CAD software and other design tools, with the ability to create detailed designs and prototypes. Have analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply design principles to optimize maintainability and operational performance. Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across multidisciplinary teamsHold EU passportWilling to attend 2 months of training in Florence (Italy) plant
