Permanent, 37 hours per week, working a 4-day week over a 5-day operational week. With the potential to work 1:30pm until 10:00pm with supplement percentage.

Our client is a prominent name within the Aerospace Sector, providing Advanced Composite and Metal Components for Civil & Defence Aerospace applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team.

Job Description: The main function of the role is to support the business in aspects of process control testing, process assurance and special process control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing multiple types of process control tests including preparation of samples - recording results and making declarations on the test result.
• Responsible for undertaking some basic calibration work and be able to administer the subcontract calibration requirements of the business.
• Responsible for undertaking multiple process assurance verifications related to performance of manufacturing equipment and manufacturing environments.
• Responsible for contributing to the analysis of technical issues and other investigatory processes
• Quality Culture: Think Quality and encourage others to do the same. Support and encourage good practice and act upon bad practice firmly and fairly. Promote an understanding which ensures the discipline of standards and expectations are followed and met at all times.
• Quality Management System: Play an Integral part in ensuring an effective quality management system is adhered to. The QMS is owned by the relevant responsible teams, but the Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring the requirements are communicated and complied with in their specific areas.
