Job Title: Heat Treatment Operative
Location: Redditch
Annual Salary: £28,000+ (Negotiable)
Hours: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and proactive Heat Treatment Operative to join an exciting company in Redditch. In this role, you will play a key part in their Heat Treatment, Passivation, and Fluorescent Flaw Detection departments, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications across NADCAP-accredited special processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain equipment in Heat Treatment, Passivation, and Fluorescent Flaw Detection departments.
Adhere to standard operating procedures meticulously for each special process.
Maintain cleanliness and follow operating protocols for equipment and work areas.
Ensure compliance with internal, international, Nadcap, and customer requirements.
Uphold health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Monitor and record data related to special processes.
Troubleshoot production equipment and process issues.
Conduct visual inspections of processed parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with the team to achieve operational excellence.Skills and Attributes Required:

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Effective communication and listening skills.
Adherence to standard operating practices and continuous self-improvement.

Willingness to contribute to a positive team atmosphere.Qualifications and Experience:
Certification or willingness to obtain certification for Penetrant Flaw Detection (NADCAP requirement).
Experience or understanding of aerospace quality standards and Nadcap.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as Digital Calipers, Micrometers, and Light Meters.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or Heat Treatment role is advantageous.
