Head of Maintenance & Facilities Management (Dual-Site Manufacturing)

Location: North Wales - both sites within 15 miles

Salary: £75,000 - £105,000 DOE + Car + Bonus + Benefits

My client, a privately owned manufacturer of plastic and composite components for global brands in automotive, aerospace, medical, and related sectors, is hiring a proactive Head of Maintenance & Facilities Management to lead two manufacturing sites, improve efficiency, and drive strategic, long-term improvements

Key Responsibilities

Lead two maintenance teams and a facilities team, driving a high-performance culture
Develop maintenance standards using KPIs, predictive technologies, and best practices.
Harmonise processes across both sites to improve efficiency and resource utilisation.
Implement and manage CMMS systems and explore automation
Manage £650k+ annual maintenance budget, identifying cost savings and CAPEX.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC to streamline operations and reduce downtime.
Ensure full compliance with HSE and PUWER standards while promoting safety culture.

Experience and skillset - Head of Maintenance & Facilities

Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
10+ years in manufacturing maintenance with 5+ years in leadership.
Proven track record in multi-site operations, CMMS, and lean methodologies.
Strong financial, communication, and team development skills.
