Internal Sales Engineer / (Graduate/ Trainee Sales Engineer)

I'm recruiting an Internal Sales Engineer or a Graduate Engineer (HNC/degree) to join a global engineering company to train and develop into a role as a Field Sales Engineer. The office is based in Cumbernauld.

An engineering qualification: HNC or degree in mechanical, marine, chemical, aerospace is required. Previous engineering sales experience is beneficial.

This role would suit a junior or trainee sales engineer or a sales engineer looking for the next step to move into technical field sales.

Knowledge of mechanical seals or rotating equipment such as pumps, centrifugal compressors is beneficial.

The Role

Working closely with a knowledgeable Senior Sales Engineer
Assisting customers on product applications
Internal sales, quotes, completing orders
Sales of high-quality mechanical seals to the rotating equipment industry, pump & compressor repair companies
Selling into all industries: chemical, pulp & paper, oil & gas, petro-chem, energy, industrial
Recommend the introduction of new products and services
Initially office basedRequirements

Engineering qualification - essential
Local to Cumbernauld office - essential
Sales experience in engineering - highly beneficial
Driving licence - essential
Knowledge of pumps, rotating compressors, rotating equipment - beneficialBenefits

£28K - £34K
Bonus - OTE £38K
