The Role:

As a Fractional AI Product Manager, you will bring analytical and commercial acumen to manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and commercialization. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, driving innovation and delivering value to our clients. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between aviation operations and cutting-edge technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), to revolutionize the Aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domain Expertise:Leverage in-depth knowledge of the air transport industry to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization in aviation operations.
  • AI Integration:Understand how AI can disrupt and improve the aviation industry, working to implement AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and decision-making.
  • Product Lifecycle:Help lead the product lifecycle, alongside the CTO, from initial ideation and requirements gathering to garnering pilot customers, implementation, and market launch.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and aviation experts, to ensure product alignment with business objectives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:Analyse complex data sets to inform product decisions, prioritize features, and demonstrate commercial value.
  • Customer Focus:Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product strategies.
  • Project Leadership:Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and commitment to excellence.

 

About You:

  • Proven experience in the aviation sector, specifically within MRO, Airport Operations, Baggage Systems and/or CAMO processes.
  • Experienced with implementing AI or data-driven solutions within the aviation industry.
  • Have excellent commercial acumen to develop and execute strategies that deliver business value. You should have brought at least one commercial product or feature built with AI successfully to market.
  • Have excellent knowledge of AI concepts, applications and trends with an understanding of how AI can transform aviation workflows and efficiencies.
  • Experienced with developing software products through all stages of the lifecycle, including ideation, development, launch and commercialisation.
  • Highly analytical with a strong ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed product decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willing to travel for occasional face-to-face meetings.
  • Preferred: A strong network within the aviation and aerospace sectors.
