Are you an experienced finance professional? Do you hold a relevant finance qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and have experience managing a team? If so, our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting for a Finance Manager for their site in Leicester. The role will involve leading the finance team, ensuring accurate reporting, improving systems, reducing costs, and maintaining compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.

Job Description

Leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary finance team while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, SOX controls, and internal financial policies across accounting, payroll, costing, and treasury functions.
Preparing and submitting accurate financial reports, including monthly accounts, forecasts, variance analyses, and statutory returns, while maintaining system integrity and meeting strict deadlines.
Promoting financial awareness and providing management accounting insights to support decision-making, cost reduction, and operational efficiency across all departments.
Monitoring and improving daily KPIs, cash flow, capital expenditure, and working capital while supporting inventory and asset control, and ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
Coaching and developing team members, streamlining financial systems, ensuring safety compliance, and collaborating on strategic initiatives including capital investments and financial planning.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Holder of a relevant finance qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with post qualification experience.
Good knowledge of statutory regulations relating to finance, VAT, wages and salaries.
Previous experience managing a finance team.
