Who are you?
We are seeking a Finance Assistant with an enthusiastic and friendly personality, who enjoys working as part of a team. The role requires a hands-on approach to accounts and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate would ideally have experience with SAP ByDesign, Excel skills and a knowledge of Accounts Payable. This role is currently for16 hoursper week ideally spread over 4/5 days and there is potential for the hours to increase in the future. Ideally office based but flexible with days working from home.
Experience in most of the following areas is required:
No specific educational background is required. Experience, aptitude and attitude are the mosty important qualities we are looking for.
- Experience in SAP ByDesign and Excel is preferred although training will be provided.
- Self-starter and autonomous worker;
- Positive and helpful attitude;
- Attention to detail and good head for numbers;
- Organised, calm and professional approach to work.
What will you be doing here?
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for
- Scanning invoices into SAP ByD
- Matching invoices with Purchase Order
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Managing the Finance inbox
- Liaising with all areas of the business
- Working to month end deadlines
- Any ad hoc tasks that may be required
